Like Buckblaster said , start with the yardage indicator towards the bottom of the tape at close range to get it on the target for elevation , then move the slide to adjust your sight pin for each yardage . Move the windage in the direction the arrows are grouping from the bullseye.
Follow your arrow group with the pin to get it sighted in . It only takes around 1/8" movement on the slide to move the yardage 5-10 yards , depending on your bow speed . Moving the slide up on the tape , moves the sight pin down for longer yardages and vise versa for closer yardages .
They are easier to explain in person , and it is quite simple once you get used to the sight adjustments . I mark my yardages initially with a fine pencil on a blank tape until I get it sighted in good .
