102 -- The Black Gold Ascent has that option available....single pin, three pin, five pin too. I've thought the same thing as you on setup...that's how I know about the setup configurations lol The only thing is that I think it moves the entire sight head so if you have top pin set at 20 at a certain marking on your tape you're still in the same boat as the single pin shooting if you adjust the sight for longer yardage unless you have a bunch of tape marking to know where each additional pin will hit if you move it away from the known impact 20 pin...so basically in my head I'm still better off with multi pins.
In one particular case I pulled a shot with an HHA that i wouldnt have been able to do with pins unless i had 6 or 7 on my bow. Furtherest I've ever shot a deer was 68 yards and I normally don't shoot but half that distance. Had a big doe bust me and bounded off and just stood there blowing and stomping and would not shut up or leave. I figured she would run and be long gone before the arrow got to her but at least I would run her off. Ranged her in the
wide open. Dialed the sight to 65 yds and held dead on her. Shot at her like a 3D target with no rush or pressure and wouldn't you know: she never flinched. Just stood there and took her 100 grn Slick Trick medicine like a good nannyhead. Shot plum through and watched her fall in sight.
