Usually around the end of August - start of September is when our nicer deer start showing up. Glad they did again :)

You answered my question before I could ask it. I see he is still hanging around; is he running alone or with a group right now? Best of luck with him this fall.

Thanks Andy. He is a loner. I have never seen another deer in the same pic that he is in. This goes back to when he was a 2 1/2 in 2009. I take that back - I got a pic of him back in March in a field while trying to get pics of turkeys and there was a doe or two in the pic with him, if I remember correctly...but thats the only one. So I knew he survived, but it is reassuring he has made it to almost fall. Just was hoping he would have grown a little bit more. When I have more time, maybe tomorrow, I will post his pics from 2 1/2 until now.
 
Some good deer you have there buddy! Man i sure do miss the bif farms my family had to hunt out that way. I grew up hunting 2200 acres in white bluff. Untill owner and his wife passed. Then we had 1600 acres in hickman. Hunted one year and it got leased out from under us. I sure miss those deer camps! Nice bucks!

Yea, White Bluff is a really good area to hunt. And I know what you mean about getting a low blow from leases. Deer camps are always fun....thats why I always look forward to LBL every year!
