Hind sight.??

ANybody use the hind sight? Reviews?

Would like to get rid of the peep and wondered if this thing was any good?

I checked the reviews on cabelas website, one bad one out of nineteen reviews. Seems like this is the way to go if you don't like a peep sight. I have trouble from time to time with my peep, might look in to getting one myself. I wear glasses and sometimes have some trouble.

got one at bass pro this spring. I love it. I have not used peep sights for a very long time. I tried the NO PEEP and like it too. I think the Hind Sight may be better overall as it actually is a rear sight.

There are a few other rear sight devices out there as well.

I think the back Cross hair feature of the Hind Sight will be real helpful on a longer shot or high up in a tree.

fishboy, I have not used the HindSight but I do use the NoPeep.

I love mine. Absolutely eliminates the problem of not seeing the deer through the peep at last light.

Only problem I see is that a peep sight gives you a long sight radius like a rifle and the peep elliminator type sights have a short radius like a pistol. Seems like it would take more concentration to make a good hit with the short radius compared to a peep sight. Might be hard to do with a big buck in front of you.

i switch to a hind sight a few years ago i love it. can see very well in low light,very inportant now that i am not as young as i use to be.

I use it and like it.......I always had trouble with a peep sight. I don't know how long I have had it but it has been at least five years.

I think I'll see if my local shop has one on a bow that I could shoot and try out. Don't think I'd wanna go messing with my setup until I was sure this is something I'd want to switch to.....

I had one and used it for 2 years. I liked it but didn't seem to group as well with it compared to my peep so I switched back. One other concern was the fact that it was a bit bulky and I always felt like I had bumped it out of position which screwed with my confidence.
