The recent gobblers iv managed to get on trail cam.. Gets me all pumped for opening day!! :bash: :party: :super:

Well I should've guessed with the popularity of fanning it was only a matter of time before the most obnoxious word in the "hunting" world made it to the turkey forum. Hitlist? Really? :bash: :bash: :bash:

I personally don't do fanning but a big mature gobbler like the one that came by the trail cam is the same as a mature buck and the hope of getting a shot at it at some point in the turkey season pumps me up !!! No I might not call that bird in but that bird would be a trophy no matter how many ones killed in a lifetime(obnoxious or not) :livid: :party: :lol:
 
You use trail cameras, a blind, and the term hit list so you might as well try fanning. You are evidently no turkey hunter and have no place in the woods. You're a disgrace to turkeys and turkey hunters everywhere and you don't deserve any satisfaction in killing them or even hunting them. What a joke! Shame on you!

You also realize that everything posted above is a crock. Good bird. Go get him.

Actually this bird was got on trail cam from my deer hunting stand and my 16 yr old son posted it!!!And if he gets that fired up over hunting praise the lord he not out doing other things and no he doesn't use a blind or fanning!The first pic was from his spot no deer ,I only had the one turkey but 26 pics of what appeared to be does with one in question"my sons reply dads done it to me again" If anyone has a pic of one that just lost its antlers i'd like to check it out :super: Everyone be safe i watched that video of the guy fanning and getting shot,can't lie started out pretty cool but the out come was ugly.Makes one think all the short cuts we've taken wether it be treestand safety un familiar equipment ect.The main goal at the end of the day is to enjoy what god has given us and come home safe... :tu:

I was mainly poking at you but I HATE that word "hitlist" and so many that have been thought up by tv "hunters". :tu:

Amen, brother. I have a 16 year old son and all he thinks about is hunting and fishing. Well....and his new little girlfriend. :lol:

Hey brother in the woods its all in fun from one hunter to the next.I looked in trail cam section but found none ,I have that one pic and you can see what appears to be a black spot on its head kid says doe but this deer has that unusual hump right behind its neck if its a doe its the muscled up doe ive ever seen.Yal kill all them yard birds lol. Just wait he will still go hunting but his girlfriend will be sittn with him and when shes not there i don't no how he hunts for texting her :lol: Of coarse if he keeps showing up the old man might try it his way; :shock: 'NOT" :lol: :lol:

She already has been squirrel hunting and shooting with him and they are going fishing Saturday. He found him a little country girl! :party:
 
The second one is shown in the snow, in about quarter strut and a white "wanting to breed" colored head. I guess temperatures still have everything to do with it?

YA but on my budget,they'll starve lol I'd like to of had the extra money to put out some corn just to see what was in the neighborhood deer wise but its the old fashion way alot of walking and scouting and putt"n cam over best sign I could find'deer wise' Turkey was just a added bonus :party:
