Holler at Me When It’s Deer Season

Almost November and weather is hot and dry. Im going back to golf and will come back when it feels like deer season lol.

I looked at forecast this week and almost 80 degrees many days. Woo doggies.

Biggest deer ever killed on our lease in KY was killed last weekend, it was 82 degrees. Running 5 cameras never once seen it, came from no where

I'll hunt it for sure, but deer movement is often way down.

Man I'm ready for some frost mornings. Extended forecast is looking like highs in 60s-70s and lows in 40s-50s.

Maybe we will get lucky rifle opener.

It's time to consult with the Florida deer hunters for advice on whitetail hunting. Anymore we are in the same climate zone as them. Not as fun as it used to be but we adapt like the deer I guess.

At the beginning of last week, weather showed this coming week to be beautiful and in the 60's all week. These are folks telling us the gloom and doom of weather 100 years from now.

Warm MZ seasons suck. But I don't see any true cold weather on the horizon. The long, long-range model (CFSv2) doesn't show a hard freeze until around December 5.

My mom is from Cheyenne Wells CO, which is right by KS. Beautiful pic and the West is God's country. I spent many summers out that way as a kid.
