I seen online where the hunts for 2012 nhave been cancelled. Anyone know why? People who earned a buck last year for this year buck hunt will there be a buck hunt for those people?

Yes.... The website states that there will be a buckhunt for those people...... I just happen to be one of those people!....Yippee! Awesome opportunity...THose deer will be absolutely unpressured.... Amazing... For us anyway..

Kind of sad though..... By doing this, I am wondering if there will be any hunting in there for the future.... If it was a one year thing, I would think that they would just put the buck hunts off for one year also....

It is due to the overall number of deer. Deer counts are down in Holston this year? You would not believe what the Yotes and other predators do to the fawn population year after year. RR is correct for the comment of hunting unpressured deer and during the rut! It should be a good hunt for the buck hunters this year.
