I was wondering if any of you guys had built your on paper tuner stands. If so what did you use and how did you do it. I am planning on making one and was going to use PVC but wasn't sure what to use for the legs. If you have any pics it would be great.

I used PVC and just got T joints and made the bottom part with a cross section and then just ran a piece of PVC about 3 foot long and then at the bottom used another T joint and then used 2 2 foot pieces for the support legs. Don't glue and joints and it can be taken apart and stored withy ease. For paper I use a big roll of butcher paper. When not using it just roll it back up, when you need it just unroll. I keep a plactic wood working clamp on the paper to keep it from unrolling and got 2 small clamps and mounted on the bottom to hold the paper end.

You can tape paper over a box open on both ends and set it on something to bring it at eye level in front of your target butt , or tape paper over the rungs of a step ladder , placed in front of your elevated target .

I think what I am going to do is make a frame from PVC and add another piece two the top and then attach it to the ceiling of my little shop and have it were I can swing it up out of the way when I am not using it.
