I have been looking at their diaphragm calls. Does anyone have any suggestions or experience with Hooks calls??

Heard good things and picked up some to try just haven't blown them yet because I have been sick but feeling better now

I really like them!! My favorite is the "Executioner". Use the "Persuader" and the "Shockwave2" also. I picked up the new "Excutioner2" at the convention, think it's gonna be a really good one.
If you'll call them usually there will be someone there to run the call for you over the phone. If I remember right his name is Scott. Their shipping is very reasonable and customer is said to be outstanding.
Now ya got me lookin at the sight.... I may be force to order something else to try.... LOL

I really like their mouth calls. The smaller frame calls fit my mouth better and their Jr. Duplicator sounds great.

I switched to them this year and they are by far my favorite. They require much less air than other calls and the tape is trimmed for a better fit.
I currently have the Executioner, Persuader, and Enforcer. I prefer all three over any Woodhaven I've used. You won't be disappointed!

Have to agree with everyone else ! I am really pleased with mine and think they are ALOT easier to use, fit comfortably etc etc. No more mass production calls for me, strictly custom from here on out. It is amazing the difference between the calls from mouth, friction and so on.
Thanks guys I appreciate the info. I have been looking for something different since Jim Pollard left Woodhaven. Heres a tip from me If you ever find some Final Roost diaphragms try them you will not be disappointed.....They are excellent.

Been using Hooks diaphrams for 8+ years and have never looked back. The smaller frame, the reduced amount of air required to blow them and their overall good quality/sound make them a winner in my eyes. I recommend them to all of my hunting buddies.
Just got mine in today, seem to be alright..a little smaller than I like tho..
yeah thats what worries me about them but will know for sure in the next few hours
got mine out a min ago for the first time. They are for sure a much smaller frame then all the others i use but seem to fit ok. They do sound pretty good i must say. Not sure i am sold on the frame size but gonna work with them some more to see if they will stay put in my mouth consistently.
I have a narrow palate, thus making the smaller frame one of the things I really like about Hooks calls.

I have been using Hooks for about 4 years. I still like my Legacy calls but seems like I always go to my Hooks now. For some reason I have not been able to run a Woodhaven as well.
