Hornady shotgun ammo

anyone tried this stuff...saw it in the bass pro catalog i got recently....the odd part was it was made to be shot out of a IMP or MOD choke with ranges to 50yds. Man that seems like a lot of yardage from that range with those chokes.
 
Haven't heard of it. I use Feds Flitecontrol, I got a better pattern after I went to a .690 choke from a .680 choke. The 680 was busting up m pattern. Hornady shells may work on the same principle as the Federals.
 
yeah seems the wad in it works in the same fashion as the flight control one from federal.If their shotgun ammo is as good as their rifle ammo it would be worth checking out.

just seemed odd to me to use a IC for turkey hunting.
 
I just check out the video they had online and they work very similar to the Feds. May have to check them out. Not really over priced either, bought the same as normal turkey loads.

Im shooting a Mossberg is the reason behind the large diameter choke.
