I've got a Hostage rest on my rig and have been pretty consistant with it. I was wondering if anyone out there has used both the Hostage and the Hostage Pro, noticed any major differences and would it be worth it to upgrade.

Yeah one of the big things about the Pro is to be sure you have the one that has the black brush on the bottom. When they first came out with them, they had 3 red brushes and the bottom one wore out FAST. Mine didn't last 400 shots, and wouldn't even support an arrow any more. They "fixed" that by putting black bottom brushes on them that were harder bristle. But hey, other than that the main difference between the one you have and the Pro, is a little more adjustment...which isn't really needed unless you are hopping the rest from bow to bow. Cause once it's tuned for your setup, you really don't fool with any of that anymore.

I've got the hostage pro with the black brushes and no sign of any wear so far.I've had it for a year now and I shoot atleast every other day.
