Here is a deer that I hope to see next fall. I beleive he is no older than 2 1/2. The last time I saw him he was a nine point. How big can I expect him to be next year? I have no pictures of him out of velvet, but I guess about an even hundred inches this year.

Very early pic... Just too big of a body to be a 2.5 y/o IMO. I think he's at least 3.5 in the pic.

If he made it through the season, I'd expect him to be a 115-120" 4.5 y/o

Columbia Scott I think you are right on the age... he is no older than 2.5 looks like he has some good potential, hard to guess on 3.5 y/o score though? too many variables, but should be in 100-120 next year. Good luck

According to some of the studies that have been shown on here, I would guess that he is 2.5 and has the potential to be 130 or better next year. Assuming that he has the proper nutrition. Good Luck!

I'm going to the first annual hunting club/lease renewal breakfast this morning then it's off to the lease to pull my cameras. I put them out on the last day of the final juvenile hunt (nobody hunted) with a pile of fresh corn at each one. I hope this guy and others survived. The hunting pressure was way down this year and I never heard anything other than distant shots the entire season. The group of twelve hunters that hunted the fifteen adjoining acres stayed in their home state this year! A tough economy evidently to blame. (yay)

What a drag! I pulled all of my cameras and out of 300 videos not....one....big buck. Does, turkeys, spikes and a half-racked 4 point. I hope all of the sixes, eights and nines we let walk didn't get killed. One of my Widgame IR4 emitter arrays crapped out too. Pitch black video at night. I bought it in March of 2010 so it's under warranty. I'll let you know how good (or bad) Wildgame's Customer service is. The replacement Scoutguard SG550V performed well. A bit of condensation got in and fogged the lens, but other than that, good videos.

I have to agree with 2.5 and 120's; with good nutrition and food a buck will add around 25 inches from one year to the next. I have taken several 2.5 yr old deer at 200 + in weight right here in the great state of TN.
I have hunted 35 years here in tennessee and where we hunt I cant remember a single deer dressing 200 and for sure not at 2.5 years old. Man you must have some serious crops!! ;)

I've noticed that deer around my home in Maury County are heavier than the bucks on the lease in Giles. I just figured that there are more hills in that part of Giles so they are smaller and more athletic.
