how early are you getting up

3am for me. get everything in the car and out the driveway by 330. get to spot by around 430. Reason it's so early is it's public land and there will most likely be a couple other people coming there. Last year I was the first there by 1 minute and then an older guy pulled up and got out. Then a 3rd truck came in, saw us parked there, did a U turn. Never saw that guy again even though we both hunted the same area. I had a jake at 5 yards and another jake or two at 10 yards that morning but of course my gun wasn't pointing the right way. Point is that even with a crowd I think I will have a decent chance at a bird - I know the area they love to roost the most.

How early will yall get up and when do you plan to be in the woods?

Best of luck to everyone going out there. Not wanting to work tonight... 5-11pm but hey it gets me the money I need to go turkey hunting.

Getting up at 430 breakfast cooked by 5 and out the door by 530. Be setting in the area I think they will be by 615-630am.

hahah i will up "up" most of the night but officially will get out of bed around 4ish tomorrow. a bit earlier then normal for me but taking 2 guys with me and have to cross a field so getting there plenty early tomorrow.

I will load the truck tonight,Sleep 4-5 hours get up about4, get dressed and eat head out and should be at my listening spot before dawn. With work so busy I havent had much opportunity to scout. So I just go with what I know from last year.

I'll get up at 5:00 and be out the door by 5:20. Takes about 3 minutes if that to get to where I'm going and then about 10 minutes to walk in. Hope to be sitting by 5:45 while it's still pitch black.
