I have a Pse Dream Season Evo , this bow is very smooth and very quiet and desently accurate .. But I also have this Bowtech Tribute , is is very smooth and extremely accurate but loud! How important is having a quiet bow?

If the Evo is only decently accurate , it's not the bow . It could be tune , arrow combo, etc .. Or sometimes people just shoot a certain bow better than others .

In a perfect world a silent bow would be the best option . But I think you should shoot the bow you shoot the best and ten try to minimize the noise as much as possible . But don't count out the Evo , make sure it is set up correctly and it is in tune . My Evo I had a few years ago was a shooter .

What weight arrow are you shooting out of the bowtech ? An arrow that is really light will make it sound like a .22

Total arrow and broadhead weight is what I was wondering about . What poundage are you shooting , draw length , and total arrow weight with head weight .

Arrow weight : 229
Broad head : Thunderhead 100gr
Draw weight: 60lbs
Bow: Pse Evo

Arrow weight: 229
Broad head : Thunderhead 100gr
Draw weight: 63lbs
Bow : Bowtech Tribute

Your pretty light on your arrow weight for the bowtech for sure , but its not dangerously low . Can you shoot a heavier weight arrow to see how much it quitens down just to try ? That's a really light weight arrow set up for hunting purposes . I'm guessing you have a short draw length like me .

It's completely up to you what bow to shoot , but I would say get someone to help you make sure the Evo is tuned correctly before you make a decision .

What is the draw lengths on both bows ?

Evo 28
Bowtech 28 1/2......
My dad is wanting a new bow I think imma let him have the Evo .. But I really like the quietness of it .. The Bowtech is just extremely quick

the only reason the bowtech is shooting faster is because of the draw length being 1/2 " longer . Also the reason you shoot the bowtech better probably . Move the mods on the Evo to 28 1/2" and try it .

The Evo's IBO speed is higher than the bowtech . You are shooting the bowtech with 1/2 " longer draw and 3 lbs heavier draw weight which actually makes them shoot almost the exact same speed .

In my program the bowtech should be shooting around 303 FPS with 67KE .
The Evo should be shooting 303 and some change and then 67KE . Do if you bumped the Evo up to the same draw length as the bowtech it should shoot around 308 FPS with 69/KE .

If you change the draw length to 28.5 on the Evo and you still don't shoot it well , by all means shoot whichever you shoot the best . But you can't compare two bows without them being your draw length . You never know you might shoot the Evo better afterwards and then you would have gave it away lol .
