I've got an arrow now that has 3 tally marks on one vane, and on the other side of the vane is an X because I lost a deer too (a reminder to not rush the shot). The arrow has passed through 4 deer total, stuck in the ground at least 3 times, and if I'm not mistaken also went through an old weathered OSB board. Same arrow and same broadhead... Easton Bloodline 400 and NAP Thunderhead 100 grain broadhead. Each time I shot a deer with it, I touched up the blades and put the BH back together and it was ready to kill another deer. I will continue to use it come September 27, and will see how many deer it kills before either the arrow breaks or a blade bends on a leg bone. So how many deer have yall had a single arrow/head kill, and what was the arrow and broadhead?

I've killed four with same arrow and rage bh. However, if you're using carbon arrows I suggest doing the flex test to make sure the arrow hasn't splintered or weakened due to the impacts.

Yes I do the flex test every now and then. Would not want one exploding on me, had that happen to a bow, would be no better with an arrow

i have killed 4 dder and one yote with the same arrow and slick trick broadhead did nothing to the head but wash off the blood replaced the blades after the yote it was the last animal i shot so it was getting wore out

I have used the same arrow to take 7 animals. It would have been at least 8 but I shot a groundhog and he got in the hole along with the arrow. I did change the broadhead after every animal but it was the same type just new. The arrows were Carbon Express Terminators.

I'm just gonna say this.......don't leave your bow unattended at the State Shoot this year. :)

hahaha I don't think they have a crossbow class at the state shoot do they ? So why are you going to be there ?

I used one arrow to pass through 15 deer before it was broken.
I did have to re fletch it once.
It was a Easton Carbonaero shaft 340 spine.

I used Magnus Stinger heads and always use a head/ferule only once as Magnus replaces each head for free.

why would you only use it once? I'd wear it down till it was dull and get it replaced. Does that void the warranty?

No it does not void the warranty, but I like to kill lots of deer every season, I have a list as long as your arm of needy families who really want the meat. So each year I plan to shoot many arrows and heads. Over the years,my son and I have accumulated forty or so Stingers. Usually about mid season we will send a dozen or so heads back to Magnus for free replacement. This way, we always keep fresh heads on our arrows.

If I were not planning on killing multiple deer each season, I would probably use an expandable. But at ten bucks a piece, 15 or twenty kills, plus a couple of misses or follow up shots is just too expensive for my budget.

It's like broadhead welfare lol

We all buy the new broadheads to finance the dozen free heads 102 gets under warranty every year.

It is not just me taking advantage of this great company, many of my friends have jumped on board the Magnus fan wagon.

I have no idea how much it costs to make one of their broadheads, but I imagine, like the other companies, that profit margins are SOLID.

So even though Magnus replaces many heads every year for customers, they would not continue to insist we keep sending them back after each use if they were not growing.

Also I figure many hunters will either lose heads (as we do yearly) or simply not return them for whatever reason.

They are a fine company as far as their customer service is concerned. I have spoken with them many times and they keep insisting I return my used heads. Heck, half the time they send me a t-shirt or a hat!

One. I don't shoot does and that's the only Buck I've killed with a bow then I switched arrows. I am up to 3 coyotes on one arrow and will possibly be able to add a turkey to that list.
