How many of you all throw things together

How many of you all throw things together and then have a hard time repeating it? I made some of the best ground venison vegetable soup this week I have ever made... I do this every so often when I have left overs I can use... This time I had some left over Mexican rice (been testing recipes for this for a while). I ended up putting some of the Mexican rice in the soup as a filler but dang was it really really good...

I am known for throwing things together and really liking it and then having a hard time repeating it...

No kidding Im the best cook in our family - and that is the way I cook, I might start with a base recipe but rarely stick just to the base recipe.

Yeah I do it all the time. Almost never stick to exact recipes. My wife gripes when I'm cooking but almost always says that was really good!

My wife does that, and can never repeat the recipe. I do it also, but I remember what I make and how I made it.

Yes that's the way my whole family cooks. It's always funny when someone asks for the recipe.
