Allow spring and / or fall turkey hunts with centerfire rifles?

Seems like a guy (that lived there) told me you could in Texas, but he was quite the liar so I dunno.

Just curious.

Texas is one that I seem to hear about on the regular. I dont think it would be any fun, Although I have always thought it would be neat to pop one in the head from about 100 yards with a .17hmr Would never do it unless it were legal though.

it is legal in texas according to an article in this month's American Hunter.

Texas for sure. I killed one there with a rifle several years ago.

I guess it's what you grew up doing, don't think I would like hunting them with a rifle.

they are harder to kill with a .22 then you would thing....not saying i have...not saying i havent....lol
