Tell us some story's on how many time you have missed in one day with a bow?
Here's mine I was 13 and went to my family farm is west Virginia dad set with me empty my quiver he got down laughing pick my arrows up hour passes I do the same he gets down picks them up again couple hours pass I empty it again he said after 18 misses I needed to stop and go practice more that was a great memory I will never forget

Every time I missed I never got a second shot but I have missed oh way to many times so I gave up for about 3 years and now I am going to try to archery hunt some more this year it won't be much but I will try to be out there

shot a missed a buck at dark one afternoon with a buddy in a tree 20yds from me. shot in missed 3x and only had 4 arrows. finally hit him on the 4th shot and he only ran 50yds. When we looked him over 1 of the first 3 actually skimmed him in the neck and left a nice deep cut. How he did run after that i still dont know.

ended up being a nice 128" deer and a funny story.

i have missed a few with a bow though.

Along time ago when i first started bowhunting i had a group of about 15 does coming by in single file. My bow was slow and i used 150 grain broadheads so if u missed judged yardage a little u missed. I missed the first one at 25 yards. Shot it for 20. Then the circus was on. I had 5 arrow and whe the last one stuck in a tree about 10 feet from me 20 feet off the ground i knew it was over. I dont doubt if i had 20 arrows i would have missed them all. The more i shot the more i got shook. Ha Ha good times.

A lot, started bow hunting at 12 with a Browning Micro Midas. Have came a long way since then. Missed plenty of deer early on that would in recent years be in back of the truck.

In one day I missed a good 8 at 35 and missed a long beard at 40. I practice for a while after that day. You hunt long enough you will miss with a bow and a gun. Its just going to happen most likely

not including injured deer, who wants to brag about that.... last year I missed one doe, on video, because of a small twig. Another day, missed another doe (an old, smart one) because woods were thick and I shot a tree. When I killed the 8 pt later that evening, I shot a tree first and the buck ran a little and came back, giving me a 20 yd broadside shot and I killed him. second last day of season I was sitting in a tree in my backyard watching 3 fawns, and missed the first 2 before finally realizing how low I had to aim at the close range on a small deer, and drilled the 3rd shot through the heart of a doe fawn.

Goal this year is not to injure any... of course it would be nice not to miss either.

I emptied a quiver of 6 one time at LBL. I had two does come running in on me and their sixth sense stopped them right out in front of me...they were aware something was there but couldn't quite figure it out. I didn't have a range finder back then...but the bad part is...they never ran off. It made me really mad that they wouldn't even run off. I threw my bow out of the stand at them. They still stood there. I then proceeded to empty my fanny backpack of everything heavy enough to throw. Then when they still wouldn't run off, I started climbing down the tree. My plan...if they were stupid enough to stand there, I was gonna run and tackle one to the ground and cut its throat. They stood there and watched me climb down in a Summit Viper climbing stand...making all kind of noise...and didn't run until I had gotten about 10-15 yards from my tree. It was then I figured out that it probably wasn't the best idea in the world to have chunked my MagLite flashlite at them...especially since I was already on my backup bulb and by the time I gathered all my crap up, it was dark.

BUT my worse miss ever came hunting TVA land. I was sitting there and saw a BEAUTIFUL piebald doe. I actually thought it was someone's goat when I first saw it. Once again...no rangefinder. But I estimated them to be about 35 yards. They didn't know I was anywhere in the world but it was evident from the trail they were on, that they weren't coming my way. So I took good aim...and shot right over her back. Oddly...the arrow hitting on the other side of her, spooked all of them TO me. I grabbed another arrow and they were practically underneath my treestand at that point. I shot and somehow missed the closest shot I've ever had at a deer with my bow. I could have jumped off the side of my stand and landed on its back. And I missed it.

I have missed one, a doe at 31 yards, that I just shanked the shot and shot under her. I have shot a couple though, that I would have given anything to have missed.

I practiced, practiced and practiced some more after purchasing my first bow. Then the opportunity presented itself. A doe and two little ones (baiting is/was perfectly legal in Michigan) so I had some sugar beats out - I emptied a quiver of 3 arrows trying to kill one of them @ 20 yards.

After the 3rd arrow missed and they came back in I just got down, scared them off, retrieved my arrows and climbed back up. I drew my bow back, put the pin on a sugar beat and cut it in half.

Come to find out I was dropping my arm/hand that was holding my bow after every shot to see where I hit (except when shooting the sugar beat).

Good times.

Young and dumb me and my cousin found a raccoon in the fork of a tree. Never realized how different your bow shoots when shooting straight up a tree. It was one of those where you say, "I'll try once", but you get so close you can't help but try again. We took turns and ended up sticking 7 arrows in the tree before I finally hit him. Never felt so dumb, over $100 stuck in the tree and all we had to show for it was nasty coon.

My first deer I actually killed with a bow I missed. I was 14 and my left hand was in a cast from a football injury. Only way I could draw was with the grip split with 3 fingers on one side and two on the other (try it its hard as heck) side. First shot missed, 2nd right under it. 3rd shot 8yrds right through the wheel house. I was hooked from then on with that bow.

Missed 6 times in one morning with a recurve. I could hit a deer target all day long but couldn't hit a live one to save my life. Finally got a doe later in the season with the recurve tho.

Missed on a doe . Pissed me off enough that I missed , that I proceeded to shoot the next 3 does that walked by and emptied my quiver of 4 arrows . Good day in the stand , but I won't do that again . Too much work tracking dragging and processing 3 does in a day .
I have missed once on a few other occasions , but managed to connect on the next shot . I'd much rather have a clean miss or a clean hit than wound one with a non vital hit .

My first deer with a bow I missed 3 times. It was out in a hay field and got closer to me every time I shot til finally it was at 20 yards for my last arrow. I finally connected with that one. My dad was on the other side of the field and could see and hear the whole thing. I hadn't seen him laugh that hard since when he came to see me after all the firing stopped

shot over a doe one evening at 15yds, she stopped at 26yds and i shot under her, she jumped ran and eventually came back to check out my arrow sticking in the ground, shot under her again! she ran to the bottom of my tree, I grabbed my knife, jumped on her back and finally killed her!!! Ok, not really, but I did finally dbl lung her at 11yds, good thing too, my quiver was empty!
