I hunt most of the season at wolf river wma because it is archery only with the exception of the two week mz season . That is the only time I gun hunt now .

nope. i do it all. each has different challenges and are equally enjoyable to me.

I bow hunt up untill gun season then the rifle comes out.If I kill a deer with the rifle quick I will go back to the bow!

Like JW I hunt only at Wolf river. Use to bow hunt even when you had the 1 week of mz season. I did break down and buy a mz and shot my first deer with it last year. But even though it was a nice buck just did not feel the same as killing one with a bow. My goal this year is to get one with a recurve

I used to be. For no reason other than I enjoy it. Since then I have really enjoyed shooting rifles too, kind of a new phase I'm in at the moment. So we'll see how it goes. I usually hunt with a bow until late dec then switch to the rifle for the last few weeks. I may pick the rifle up a little sooner this year we'll see how the mood is. I will always bowhunt through muzzel loader though. I don't and wouldn't think any less of a person for picking up a rifle. It's a lot of fun but in different ways than bow hunting. The sets are different, the tactics are different. It's a whole new type of hunting..for me anyway.

All good post but for me I like all 3 phases of hunting. I do love the bow but then comes muzzleloader and my TC is ready and I have too blow some smoke. Then to the blind for snowy days and out comes the rifle. I just can't help myself....deer fever...or just crazy I guess.

I enjoy bow hunting more than gun hunting but I am feeding 3 family's so the smoke pole comes out . My daughter get 2-3 a year i get 2 and a friend gets 1-2 . Any extra I donate to hfh or give to someone I hear needs help .

I love to bowhunt because of the preperation it takes to get all things ready. I bowhunt about 90% of the time, I take a gun when my freinds and I want to kill alot of does quick or im feeling lazy that day.
