I had a small left tear with my set up but grouped very nice groups out to 50 yards with field points. My Slick Tricks were about the same.

I haven't practiced much in a month and shot my bow today at 40 yards and couldn't group very well. Wind was blowing and it was cold. I screwed on a Slick Trick and missed the target at 40 yards. I was aiming for a dot on the right side of the target and missed about 4" right.

Is my bow out of tune or do I need to stick to the short shots hunting??

I won't get too tore up over one shooting session. There will be sessions when a person just won't have it. After a couple if the problem is still there then worry about correcting it.

If you haven't shot much for a month and you aren't getting groups , its probably you , not the bow . You are probably a little rusty . Also , shooting in adverse conditions is much more difficult than warm weather shooting .
Move back in to 20-25 yards and see where you are at with your groups, then go from there .
If your broadheads are grouping consistently off from your fieldpoints , then make adjustments .

Ditto what theairman and radar said. i don't know how many times I have went out and shot and thought it was the bow. I would adjust something to get it shooting right and then come back the next day and have to adjust it back to where it was the first day just because it was me and not the bow. I now wait and if it does the same thing two days in a row then I will adjust something.

I grouped fine at 25 yards...figured it was me.
