How old is this joker

Here is a pic of that huge 6pt bought to square off on a buck that has to be related to the 9 pt I shot this past Sunday.....look at how the main beams almost touch.....I think it's older than my 9pt.......what do ya'll think

that's the biggest 6 point ive seen but you can tell the difference in the body size of the one you just killed and the 6 point. I think he may be a year younger then the 9 point. but he has a heck of a frame. I think he is 3.5. did you ever get the 9 aged? I think he is 4.5. may just be how the picture is though. I try my hardest only shooting 4.5 year olds and older but that's one deer if he is 3.5 I wouldn't pass that deer is just awesome.

I may be pickin up the jaw bone today..... Thurs. Sometime.......that 6(actual 7pt) looks real old in that 1st pic to me but I'm really clueless on aging deer, that eight point about to square off with the 6-7pt seems to have less mass than my 9pt but it's hard to tell.......I find this all fascinating

Would really would like BSK's opinion here PLEASE?

You said that the other pictures of that 9 were Bill Dance-ed, but I just think he's that big. I cant get over how thick his neck is.

All are mature

If I had to be pinned down, I'd say the big 6 is 5.5; the other 9 is 5.5; and the buck you shot is 4.5

The buck you shot may be a little subpar for your hunting area, but it really is a nice representative of a trophy for TN, congrats!

He was thick for sure and had that Roman nose you see on Midwestern and Canadian bucks.....he had more fat on him than any buck I have taken except the 51 pointer

thanks, you're right about my area's potential to produce much bigger racks but I don't think he would have reached those #'s ever! just couldn't pass up after seeing the left G2 at 50 yds, sure would love to take that 6-7pt with my recurve.....but I can't shoot it worth a crap lol
