Maybe you can put a sign like they have for the "tobacco" pipes.
"Pipes are for tobacco use only"

This one could say
"Turkeys - food is only for when I am not trying to shoot you."

i really dont see the issue, so they sell something turkeys eat? Kroger sells sudafed dont mean everyone buying it is a meth head.

They sell DEER corns as well, as do plenty of other stores...still on the sportsman to follow the rules.
