Put this on the gun tonight and really like it. It attaches to the gun so you do not have to carry it seperately to the field.

I'll field test it this weekend and let you know what I think about it. So far I am impressed. I mainly like the idea of it being attached to the gun. Really trying to focus in this year on not having so much gear to carry around.

I had one a couple of years ago. The part that snaps to the barrel when not in use broke within a few uses. It is a life saver for those longer sits though. I usually carry it in my vest and only use it if I plan on sitting for a while.

I have a buddy who uses one occasionally. He likes it but doesnt like the weight and awkward bulk, especially when on the move.

I like 'em! Especially for kids, both my boys ages 14 & 15 have killed 12 birds each and I feel it's safe to say they wouldn't have half of them if it weren't for the V-Pod.
