By opening a blanketed window of doubt on rape allegations, we undermine the legal process in which truely sexually abused women relay on for justice. On top of the fact that Justice is difficult to obtain already, especially if the rapist is a sports star or the son of an important political figure, and the scenario for rape victims seems to be getting worse and worse and I think conviction rates will illustrate that. The biggest problem will always be the public who are willing to support the accused, not because they confident in their innocence, but because they value the product the accused brings them more than the suffering of the victim.
