Hunt horns or hunt meat at LBL in december

I was just curious on how many still hunt for trophies or do most meat hunt?

I hunt just south of dover, and from what I've seen (as of 11-21)the peak rut has yet to come. While it may have started this weekend with cooler temp, I believe this weekend will be good unless the bucks are locked down on the does.

I guess what I'm getting at is hunt for trophies!! I will be this coming weekend, and I aint too far from LBL.

Have you killed any deer yet? If not,shot the first thing that comes by,if you have killed a deer,hold out for a little while..Its completely up to you and how you hunt. Each person is different..Me i'd shoot the first legal deer that came by with my bow..

Yes i have killed deer this year. I guess its just when i hunt LBL or Ft. Campbell I really get choosy. I bow hunted Kansas this year for the first time the first week in Nov. I seen several nice deer. I would love to kill a 160" deer. But if I never do, At least I love my time in the woods. I think thats what its all about.

me personally, i would try both...lol...you will know if you should pull the trigger when he walks up. If your blood is fixing to bust some veins, take the shot..lol
