Through out seasons I look at it to see how things are going. When I first looked at this earlier in the season it was not working. I got on this morning and it is up and running. A few take aways.
1. There have been a lot of birds killed this year.
2. It is funny how the breakdown of certain WMA's are of adults vs juveniles.
3. Why is it showing hens killed in several places?
4. Some of these WMA's are killing a ton of turkeys.
5. As big as some WMA's are I am surprised at the low numbers being reported.
I have read that the toolbox is not always accurate, but it is interesting data to say the least.

1. There have been a lot of birds killed this year. - Correct, strong start to the season when looking at kill numbers. That can mean many things, just depends on how one analyzes and interprets one year's kill data.
2. It is funny how the breakdown of certain WMA's are of adults vs juveniles. - May or may not be accurate, the data is only as good as the input, and that is up to the individual hunter to input correctly. I suspect it is 90% accurate across the state, so a good indicator of what you seen in the results.
3. Why is it showing hens killed in several places? - Bearded hens are legal, so unfortunately, several are killed and tagged each season.
4. Some of these WMA's are killing a ton of turkeys. - Correct. Record license sales, folks being off work and better than average weather first two weeks have led to a great deal of success this year, thus far.
5. As big as some WMA's are I am surprised at the low numbers being reported. If they are in East TN, some of the best hunting is toward the end of our 44 day season..
