Built 8 new arrows over the last few days. All arrows weigh within 1.5grns of each other. Around 380grn(could stand to be a little heavier)

My question is that my FOC(with 100 field tip) is only about 10%.
I'm not too worried about it, but I just thought I would see what you other fellas are getting as far as FOC on you hunting arrows.

Bob...... You can get by with 10% FOC but like f1 said 13-15 % is better. It doesn't take much weight to change the FOC. Just screw a 125 grain head in front and see what it does to the FOC.If you can get it around 12 % you should notice some increase of quitness and straighter flight. Also the overall length of the arrow has some bearing on FOC, not much but some. It would be best to really measure FOC with your broadheads in place. Need any help just holler....

Thank you tox. That is what I got to thinking. Maybe I will try a 125grn head. I could use a little more weight on that arrow anyway. Thanks so much.
