hunting arrows and broadheads

I have a set of practice arrows and practice broadheads set aside that i practice with,but when I go hunting I use different arrows that have never been shot and brand new broadheads that never have been shot either. When I switch I will shoot each arrow one time into the target to make sure it shoots the same and isn't differnt somehow.Will shooting the broadheads 1 time into a foam layered target dull them out?

They will get dulled depending on the target material . It's best to use dull blades for practice .
