Hunting Middle Forked Deer River

I was wondering about hunting the river come early wood duck teal.

I have been doing some property map research, where I am interested in hunting it, property lines are down the middle.

Any word on access laws would be great.

You have to have a legal access point which means a public ramp or permission to cross private property to get in and out. Once you are in the river, you can hunt the river but must have landowner permission to retrieve ducks from the adjacent bank if that is where they fall.

Anchoring or mooring without landowner permission is also not allowed, from what I've read in similar previous threads. Please feel free to correct me, but I understand that simply being in the water doesn't relieve anyone from permission requirements.

would a worn out trail beside a bridge count as a legal access? somewhere that people are regularly seen fishing from?

Look at the Tennessee real estate property maps. Most likely the state owns the road right of way around the bridge. Just be sure the trail is entirely on the road right of way and make sure you can legally park there.
