hunting on center hill

has anyone ever hunt on center hill or any of the surrounding lakes? thinking about trying it this year while getting some fall fishing in as well.

there use to be some islands that had some great deer hunting on them, locals might sink yer boat if they see it lol, dekalb county can be a tough place to hunt

Like what Mike243 said some of the islands are good I've not hunted there in awhile ,also some fairly good areas you can get to without a boat.

I used to hunt private land right on the lake and it is tough country. Granted we only went once a year towards the end, so needless to say not a ton of deer sightings, but did see some. It is in Unit A, so not as many doe opportunities, but I'm sure there are deer in the area. lots of hardwood mast producing trees, so plenty of food. You may need to find an island, that condense the deer into a smaller area.

I patrol around it every work day. A lot more deer than what Im used to for sure. I would try to work my way close to a safety zone.
