Always been a fan, but this season has been horrible. If you are on the fence look elsewhere. Constantly trying to sell me an upgraded membership, when I pay for an upgraded membership, or not loading at all.....that's all! Yes I have emailed them...

I still use them and have for years. But they did ruin it with the update. Might look elsewhere next year. For now I'm still using them.

I use CalTopo also. Certainly a great option. Not really geared towards hunting. But the maps are by far better than ONX or HuntStand. You can do much so more mapping so I go back and forth between the 2.

Yeah I really like the way you can overlay time of day to a map to see how the sun lays on the terrain. It adds another layer for when I'm cross referencing trail cam pics with environmental conditions at the time of the capture.

Otherwise I really appreciate simplicity. As long as I can identify property lines, drop pins, and make notes I am happy. Huntstand screwed the pooch with me.

I had their lite free version on one of my phones years ago. An "upgrade" happened and everything I had saved with the app on my phone was gone. I deleted it from my phone and haven't installed it back on any of the phones I have had since. I did consider it a while back, but after looking here nope!

I really need to get back to keeping a journal. Sucks all my posts on realtree were lost, had a lot of good records there in the way of posts. Real shame they shut the site there down without warning, they didn't even tell us admins/moderators they were pulling the plug, just poof gone. I did email back and forth between Scott Hughes, the old site admin, and he said that company had the servers and he didn't know if they would ever being their forums back online.

Somewhere in one of my old computers on a hard drive though I do have probably 10 years of journals. Would be nice with technology to be able to punch in pieces of the puzzle with trail cam data, weather data, sightings on stand, and etc. If I could code, I would write a program or app. Spreadsheets just aren't friendly for the data fields.

I use it and paid for the upgrade so I can see who owns properties. I find this feature useful all the time.

My favorite part is being able to use the monthly satellite photos. I just move it to Jan or Feb of same year and it really helps.
