If anyone remembers.. I haven't bow hunted since 2004. I just bought a bow this year and am getting back in to it. I'm sort of a cynic when it comes to mechanicals.. so I was hoping I wouldn't have any problem getting fixed blades tuned.

I bought some Muzzy 100gr 3 blade. I screwed them on and took a shot from 20 yards. Dead center. Another. Dead center. Backed up to 30 yards.. dead center.

I couldn't believe it.. these things are hitting right where my field tips hit. I got lucky that the person I bought the bow from must have already had it tuned pretty well (all I've done is changed the site).

Nice ! I love it when a bow is tuned well enough to put a good fixed blade in the bullseye / vitals . Good luck this season !

I have always shoot muzzys. Always shoot the same as my field points. They are nasty accurate.

I love Muzzy's. I used to use Thunderheads but like the tip and the way the blade interlocks on a Muzzy better. They have always flown good and put deer down quick. Mine usually fly within an inch of my fieldtips.

You in TN yet? If so come by and shoot some afternoon. Wait until it is about 105 degrees though.

Not yet. Closing on the house Monday (20th) and moving on the 28th. Moving company should be delivering our stuff between the 29th and 31st.
