I bought some Nutritional pellets to put with my corn before I went on vacation just to see if they would like em. This is in a area that I had 400+ pics last year in a week, lots of deer. I went to check it today with intentions of putting more corn out and checking my camera and I got to is to find the deer hadn't got to my pellets before the rain-matter of fact after checking the camera they didnt seem interested in them at all. Long story short now I have this pile of slop that smells like you brought a wheel barrow of COW #&$^ from the stockbarn and put it in front of my camera I took my foot and raked it through the edge and it stunk bad they was flies blowing it and everything. The deer were still there on camera eating corn though according to my pics.
My concerns are not the deer eating it and getting sick cause they are simply not in it no tracks or anything and its a concrete consistancy so I would see tracks. But will this dry up or do I need to take a shovel in there next time and try to scatter it out or haul it off, bury it etc etc I'm open to suggestions thanks
