with this bird. My daughter killed it Saturday. Measurements that i get are 27.5 lbs. 10.5 beard and 1 3/4 spurs on each side. I get 83.5. Is this correct? Thanks

I weighed him on some scales i got from Richard's Sporting Goods. That's pretty much what got my interest up on this bird. Personally thought he was about 24 lbs.

As Setter eluded to, it may have been fed GREAT over the winter, and we all know it was an mature bird with those daggers. Good luck with your daughter's trophy and tell her those spurs are more to be proud of than five 30# birds.
Nor has 90% of the turkey hunters out there (weight & spur length in particular).Bucky":26j81iit said:I've never seen a bird this big.
