My fishing buddy and I were invited to join the local bass club back in January. Bobby and I both have recently started bass fishing in the past couple of years. We hesitantly discussed joining the club to try to learn more about the sport. There are some great fishermen in the club and we were afraid of embarrassing ourselves but decided we didn't care that much of what they thought as long as we could learn a thing or two and hopefully catch fish too. Today was our last club tournament of the year and I am pleased to say I won angler of the year coming in at the top of the points standings. Bobby came in a close second only being 5lbs behind me. Rookies coming in at #1 and #2. 
I'm moving on to fish the state semi finals next weekend and am pumped!!!!!! Thanks for letting me brag a little lol.
