Well, at least I did get to watch 2 gobblers for 2 hours this morning. Had them coming in but then the hens flew down right over the top of me and led them out to the middle of a big field. They strutted out there for a little over 2 hours before the hens took them off towards the other property. I tried to sneak around and find them before that but no luck. Had to leave by 12 so I could get back and pick up the kids.
It's been 3 years since I killed one of these birds and patience by dam I'm ready to kill one.

We got to watch 3 strutters at 50 yards on Sunday morn. Think how bad the 8 year old with the gun wanted them to come closer. Hang in there buddy. It will happen and you sort of forget about all the hard times. I go through dry spells and then luck shines once again. It will happen to you too.
 
They are so stupid they seem smart dont let them mess with you.lol they are just turkey
