I screwed up!!!!

I heard 7 gobblers and waited on the big one on my farm. He come out with 16 hens and beat up every gobbler that come out in field with him. After all the other gobblers were gone he started heading in the woods wiht hens at about 60 yds. Did not seem that far when I shot but it was and I missed. How long til other birds will gobble again. Did I mess this spot up?

That is just part of turkey hunting. 60 yds is pushing the limits ,but its a shot that can be made. Turkeys have short memories. More than likely gobbling that same day. If you are the only one hunting and messing with the birds, you are going to have a fun season. They will not leave ,shutup, because of a missed shot.

No they will not leave me an my father inlaw an two buddys killed 5 toms in 4 day off the same stand man just keep hunting the same spot an good luck
