Cuttin Caller.........I set up on a turkey one morning and there was a log on my left side. I made a series of calls and the gobbler almost ran getting to me . He stopped right beside the other side of the log. The log had a space between it and the ground. I could have easily grabbed him. I almost did but he had some pretty sharp spurs so I passed on grabbing him.

almost had them step on me before.its fun when they get close but you better not pull the shot.you would be amazed how many people have missed turkey at less than 10 yards.

actually it's much easier to miss at shorter ranges with a shotgun because the shot column has not spread very much.
