I decided to go at the last minute and had a great time. I had much luck the first day, my rifle was hammering, and my wind calls good. Samuel Hall did some research at the match to see what the smallest 8 target agg ever was for Light class and it was 2.4xx"
4 competitors broke this record, and I was pleased to be 1 of those. I asked the others to stand with me for a photo, and all were happy to oblige.

I came in 2nd place group agg Lt Class out of a field of 82 shooters from all points across the USA.

My 8 target agg was 2.138"

Left to Right Sam Hall, Richard Shatz, Mike Hanes, and yours truly Tim Claunch.

40 shots in a baseball at 600 is some serious shooting.

congrats on an awesome day,,you must have a great attention to detail

Very "basic" by the 600 yd benchrest standards. BAT model B action, Jewel HVR trigger, Leupold Competition series 40x scope, McMillan ST1000 stock sold by Scope us Out, Krieger 1.25" diameter barrel chambered by yours truly in a 6 Dasher with .266" ND .162" FB.

may be basic to them, but that is one nice outfit, results is all that matters anyway,,and you are getting some really good results..

BTW,Daddy wound up with the 45x45 scope on the Sako 6mm PPC,I can`t wait to give that a go also..
