If I peek at my arrow when I shoot....

Keep your blinds on your windows pulled tight fellas!!! We have a peeper!!! LMAO :D Just messing with ya UT,in all seriousness I have no idea.

I don't quite understand what you are describing when you say "peek", but as soon as my arrow is in flight I watch it through my sight until it hits the target and do not move the bow. I'm curious if you are anticipating the shot and slightly jerking so you can see after the shot. I have found myself doing that in the past and I considered it a form of "target panic" and it did nothing but get worse as I did not know what was causing my arrows to fly all over the place and lost confidence in my shots. Archery is like golf....90% mental.

What TNDeerGuy said! If you are trying to move to see your arrow in flight you will mess up the shot.Like he said look at it through your sights. Practice releasing and not moving any at all and you will be able to see the arrow fly by looking through the sights. Your head and bow hand should be in the same position when the arrow hits as it was when looking through the peep.

NEVER watch for arrow flight...
PICK your spot, and stay on it....
If you do that you should see the arrow impact with no problem..
It's all part of follow through.

Ditto . Just keep holding on target until the arrow hits. If you are over practicing and getting tired you may hit to the right if your bow arm is collapsing . Practice a dozen arrows every other day and see how well you are shooting .

Yes... Peeking can cause you to hit to the right(right hand archer) or right and low. Anticipating your release, dropping your bow arm, and just sloppy form can also cause it.

Keep your focus. Follow through. Execute your shot. You will be fine.
