I found some serving and served below the bottom cat whisker that kept sliding last night. I got home today and had a great shooting session. First let me add that I love my bow now. I've got leeches on the cable and whiskers on the string. I've got the string stopper resting lightly on the string. I'm shooting probably a quiet 278-280 fps. My bow is a nice, quiet whisper at the shot then the lound smack follows when the arrow finds the target. I love how quiet those whiskers make my bow. Another plus is my broadheads are hitting very close to my field points. I was picking the corner of the squares on my target face and hitting them at 25 yards. Adjusting my center shot improved my accuracy. My gear is about ready to get out to the woods.

I am also grounded this year because of surgery last Wednesday. I can hunt from the ground only until about Thanksgiving and then I might be able to climb a tree. Until then I have to hunt using the buddy system cause I would have a whale of a time getting a deer in my truck. I have permission to hunt 60-75,000 acres in TN. So far Radar and Headhunter have volunteered to go with me. I took both out last year.

Thanks for the invite, one can never have enough places to hunt!

Definately, I am pretty much hitting right on at 25 yards, but would like to see if any further tuning would be needed.
 
Hey bud,
I actually picked up some whiskers and took my old "ONE" off the top...lol. I actually watched a video on putting whiskers on off of youtube. I didnt have any serving string, but being the avid fisherman I am, I had some spiderwire laying around so I used it. They turned out awesome!!!! The guy showed you how to make little puffy balls instead of the big floppy ones. I havent shot it yet, but I will first thing tomorrow. Got to do some things on the farm, and then its go time..lol.
I am glad you have finally got it to stay and your happy with them. I have actually had people with mathews bows ask how I got my bow so quiet. They think its the blocks in the riser..lol. Its just day and night even with all the dampening crap that already comes on it. Also very happy you AND I are finally happy with our bows..lol.
I sure wish cookeville was closer to you guys, I would love to shoot with all you all. Untelling what I would learn. It also sounds like a pretty good deal Secret Squirrel has, hope you guys stick the state record!!!
