I don't turkey hunt a lot due to fishing but manage to kill a few every year. I have been using the black Winchester Supremes for years with no issues out to 40 yards. Bought a box of 3.5" #6 Longbeards a few weeks ago and shot them this evening. I am impressed. 870 that hasn't been polished with a Star dot choke equals 210 pellets inside 10" at 40 yards. I believe that I will be switching and could probably gain more by polishing. It looks good on paper and hopefully it will perform on a turkey as well.
They do shoot good.
