read about it in an article in a fly fishing magazine. dude was japanese and he was catching bait, lol. he had a couple of dollar sunfish that he had caught in an aquariam. beautiful little fish.

i can barely see to tie a 5/0 hook anymore much less those micro hooks they use.

Catch and release in reverse. Most fishermen release fish in hopes of them growing. I doubt if many of these fish shrink.

I've got a buddy who is a professional YouTuber and some of his most viewed videos are the ones where he went micro fishing. It's kinda a "thing" nowadays.

Yea that's nuts. Reminds me when I was a kid there was a brackish water creek near my house where folks bank fished for bass and bream, we were catching some small bream and throwing them back. An old lady fishing a few yards away from asked why we were not keeping them. We told her they were too small. She said what do you mean too small? You eat rice don't ya?
