Wasn't TWRA supposed to build an incinerator in west tn so hunters would have a safe place to dispose of carcasses?

I think I read somewhere that the local populations or ordinances blocked the path to do that at couple desirable sites and the idea died on the vine…but I am not as informed as I used to be.
They spent all their money on duck blinds that weren't wanted or needed.
Yea I think they mixed the incinerator and duck blind draw as one and incinerated some good blinds.

Well I gues it doesn't matter. It's kind of like trying to slow down covid with shut downs. It might slow the spread but won't stop the inevitable. Covid is here to stay and so is CWD.....
I was wondering about the incinerator as well. I know the people around that area were against it.

Last time I saw the research, even extraordinarily high temperatures didn't destroy the CWD prion.

Wasn't it going to cost some astronomical figure, like 1.5 million dollars?
Plus there's quite a few regulations on incinerators, most all limiting how many subjects can be cremated in a certain time-frame.
My wife used to work in town near one of the crematorium. I never explained to her where the thin film of ash on her car was coming from....
