I turned the limb bolts a full turn today and practiced. My bow is a 60-70# and it was set on 60#. According to the manual one full turn equals 2-3 lbs of draw weight. I felt like the bow was more steady and balanced today. Also, I like the resistence of increasing the draw weight. It seems to keep me more steady. I am shooting to top off at 65-68# by hunting season, but if the bow doesn't like this I will dial down. I am now at 62-63# draw now and it shot nice, I did have to make a minor sight adjustment.

Just shoot a few times a week and for short periods and you will have the muscle and from in about a month
When I first got my bow it was set @ max and I had to do the sky draw
turned it down to the lowest and every week I just cranked it up a few turns and now its feels just right
I can pull it back stedy and level

I like my bow's maxed out.. I had my bowtech checked to see what the poundage was.. it's a 60-70. But it was maxed out at 73#. I backed it down to 70 even. it made me feel alot better, not as shaky.

Go 1/2 turn every 3 days and you will never notice.Your strength will increase with your increase in draw weight without stressing your muscles, tendons and joints..You won't have to make sight adjustments every time.Possibly every 2nd to 3rd 1/2 turn.

Don't be too concerned about increasing draw weight , focus on maintaining accuracy , judging distance , shot angles , and making the first arrow count for hunting .
