I'm looking for some feedback on the Primos deer positioning system. I've read the review on chasingame website and looks to be an outstanding unit, I was just wondering if anybody on here had any personal use or expeirence with it. I'm wanting to use it on a fence crossing in a pine thicket on my kentucky lease. I don't care anything about nightime pictures and I want a camera that I can hide very well and nobody know about it. Any comments would be great. Thanks

Stay away from anthing made by primos. They would not honor there warranty with me. I had a truthcam 35 burn up during the warranty and they will not return my phone call or emails. Shoddy company imo!

Timberjack,
Hate to hear of your problem. I have had a couple of situations were I needed customer service from Primos and found them to be excellent. Matter of fact, I e-mailed them last week about a camera, they responded the same day, had me ship the camera back and I had a new one in my hands within 5 business days.

Concerning the Positioning system, if I were using it for a fence jump, I think I would consider a regular trail cam. I am not sure about the DPS, but with a regular cam, you can set it so it will work in Plot mode + trigger system at the same time. That way, when deer comes to the crossing, it will trigger you camera, even though it is also taking pics with Plot mode as well. Just something to consider.

I considered doing that, but I was looking for a camera that I can conceal very well and not have to put it out in the open were someone could happen on it. And this fence jump is out in the open with the nearest tree being about 30 yds. Last time I set a camera up around that area I got more switch grass pictures than I did deer and it filled up a 4 gig memory card on my WGI in about 2 weeks.
