Also a great reminder of how we can generate preferred and beneficial food sources for deer by strategic bush hogging...or spraying....or light disking....and prescribed fire....creating early successional growth doesn't have to be expensive.
And with today's lime, fertilizer and seed cost.... these methods are certainly an attractive option.
