Interesting poult pics

This is back in early June. Judging by the pics, I thought the bobcat may have killed the little guys. But a couple weeks later, they popped back (at least I think it's them). The June gobbler pic is just because I thought it was a great pic.

That is nice. A little bit of proof that a single predator isn't a big problem.
It's a cumulative of different predators, weather, and habitat.

I haven't seen any poults on my camera since about may 30th date. Just a group of three hens. But hopefully this drought is good for something, and the state as a whole is having good poult recruitment

Also goes to show that just because Turkey season is way gone, doesn't mean that gobblers are all the way done.

Great pics. I'm worried that I haven't got any pics of poults with the few hens I've been getting on camera.

well these have disappeared and I'm just getting large groups of hens without poults now. It's worrisome.
