Yep... You have to be gifted with size and speed. When you think you are a stud in H.S. but walk into college. You find out that the field starts leveling out......

Badnole would be happy to know that I received a recruiting letter from Bowden and Brad Scott at FSU. It was actually my first letter. Recruiting was a little different in the 80s before the web and cell phones. The H.S. coach would call you into his office....

You should be proud of that letter from Bobby. Brad was a good coach and developed Charlie Ward and started the fast break offense, not Mark Richt.

During the time we had two players from my H.S. playing for FSU and they would tell me that Bobby was asking about me. I would watch the Bobby Bowden show with Burt Reynolds every Sunday morning....
