Need to go back and study up on what happened with Pearl. The particulars anyway I got the gist of it.
I mean I'm not gonna pretend I'm not frustrated with some decision making, but I think he deserved another year and equally as important I think we gotta be careful what we wish for... grass ain't always greener

He was falling further down the totem pole. We actually have an awesome running back room. Now if they can just get coached up. Tiyon Evan's and Cody Brown should push Eric Grey pretty hard.

good luck to Chandler wherever he lands. He plays hard and would do better with a program that will actually pass him the ball, he is a great pass catcher

And Jabari Small and Dee Beckwith.

Is Mr. Freeze still in waiting at Liberty?

If Pruitt is let go because of losing games and NCAA violations. There's no way in heck they would have Freeze as a candidate at UT. If I remember right, Freeze committed a few violations also.... lol

"Ole Miss received the sanctions after being accused of 15 Level I violations under coach Hugh Freeze. The NCAA panel on infractions said the school lacked institutional control and fostered "an unconstrained culture of booster involvement in football recruiting."

"Level I: Severe breach of conduct

This level of breaches covers "violations that seriously undermine or threaten the integrity of the NCAA collegiate model as set forth in the Constitution and bylaws."

The violations are aimed at fair play so that no one school has a competitive or recruiting advantage over another school or receives a substantial benefit that is not permissible.

Examples of level I violations include:

Academic fraudFailure to cooperate in an NCAA enforcement investigationIndividual unethical or dishonest conductLack of institutional controlViolation due to a head coach's responsibility for an underlying Level I violation by an individual within the sport program."

SMU got the death penalty for the same stuff.

If Pruitt is let go it will just be another dumpster fire coach come in and be gone in 3-4 years. History just keeps repeating itself at Neyland :D

This is going to cut deep into Pruitts ability to Recruit "if" he remains the head coach. I would think we are sorta in the middle of recruiting season.

IMHO potential recruits at the top level are not going to want to buy into a crap fest. Just my opinion.
